I'm here in Charleston, South Carolina, as a part of Compass, and we did Susie Adamson's Boot Camp, which was a really intensive one-day breakdown of what we've been up to and what we were hoping to do. Susie did a great job customizing not only what we needed for our small team but also helping us develop better systems so we could better manage our time.
I think I got to the point in my career where I had grown—maybe plateaued. My network had grown, but there were only so many hours in the day that my small team and I could tend to everything. Her boot camp was transformational for us, especially as we were newer to Compass. We really felt like she helped us cut a few corners or skip a few steps of trial and error within the platform. This allowed us to test-run it for the next year or so before we had the opportunity to sit back and actually work on the business versus in it as much as we all do.
She also helped shift our mindset—even in how we start our day—so that we're doing a lot less reacting and a lot more proactively managing the things we sit down to plan. During the holiday season, this was especially helpful as we worked to improve everything from our marketing to our processes and systems.
So, if you're at that stage like I was—where you've been doing it for a while and need better systems, tools, and a way to really wrap everything around the Compass engine—I’d highly recommend working with Susie. She’s been incredibly helpful for us and was the proverbial kick in the pants I needed, both as a small team lead and as a more efficient agent for my clients.

After 13 years in the business I'm hesitant to spend money on coaching because a) I can't be bothered and b) coaches seem to have *their* systems which, for whatever reason, don't speak to me. Before Susie, we *really* wanted to use Compass checklists because it looked like those would just be the answer to our issues (we now do and they have been). We had lots of stops and starts and nothing stuck. Well, it's all sticking now. Susie coached us through the hiring of a new VA, the implementation of thrice weekly team check-ins which we do CONSISTENTLY, the assignation of tasks, the revamping of the direction of our marketing, and the management of our business. Mostly, however, she gave us confidence in our existing skills and helped us find more. She always gave us extra time, and she's just super cool to boot. She stands by her work, she is never stingy with her own work product, and she truly wants you to be a more efficient and proficient agent at the end of the day.
